Wantage Betjeman Literary Festival - Madhatter's Art Workshop

The Madhatter's Art Workshop was held in the Vale and Downland Museum on 1st November, for children aged 6-11.

We completed two projects, the first to construct a fanfold book, and illustrate it with images of the teaparty. For the younger children, there were cakes, hats, teapots and cups to cut out and paint. The older ones chose to draw their own images, illustrating riddles, time, the Madhatter, March Hare and the Doremouse. The second project was to decorate a teapot fit for a Madhatter's teaparty. These teapots are on display in the museum until the end of November.
